After successful 4D FUTURECRAFT footwear project, a partially 3D printed shoes, Adidas is debuting an innovative eyewear frame made on the newest generation of 3D printers.

Following the collaboration with Milan-based Marcolin Group started in early 2020, Adidas continues its steps towards making the whole production process based on 3D printing. The deal is valid until 2024, and Marcolin Group will design, develop, manufacture, market and sell eyewear products under the Adidas name.
The new 3D CMPT is made of a flexible nylon structure with rubberized effects and mirrored lenses crafted from lightweight polycarbonate.

With a weight of just 20 grams, the 3D CMPT sunglasses will be available exclusively for Adidas club members on the official website from August 23. According to the press release, this innovation will retail for $ 415.
