On July 12th, Gucci announced their upcoming collaboration with esports and lifestyle label, 100 Thieves, through a capsule collection.
In a 2-minute teaser video shared on Twitter by the gaming company, some of the Gucci items from this collaboration are possibly being worn by the featured members. Further details on the collaboration remain unknown.
Drawing on the shared values of freedom and self-expression, the House unveils its latest foray into the world of esports through a collaboration with 100 Thieves—a Los Angeles-based brand of apparel, lifestyle and gaming.
The Gucci x 100 Thieves capsule collection will be dropping exclusively for users with an MY GUCCI account on July 19th, 2021. You can still create an account on Gucci’s website to receive updates as more information becomes available.
Over the past year, Gucci has partnered with different gaming platforms including Tennis Clash, The Sims, Genies, Roblox, Pokémon Go, and Animal Crossing.
In another gaming X fashion collaboration, Off-White has partnered with New York graffiti artist KATSU and Luis Vuitton has designed garments for League of Legends.
